Coach Washington “Kwash” is going into her 9th season with Corpus Christi Force Volleyball. Coach Kwash is from Cuero, Texas. A 2011 High School graduate of Cuero High School, where she was a volleyball standout! Not only lettering in volleyball, she was an all around 4 year letter in Basketball and Track! You can now find Coach Kwash as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Calallen High School. Before her coaching career, Coach Washington was a stand out volleyball player at Texas A&M University – Kingsville. During her playing career she was a two time 1st team All Conference and a two time 2nd Team All Conference player in the Lone Star Conference. She also finished on the LSC All Tournament Team her senior year, where she guided her team to one of the strongest finishes in school history. Kwash has recently took over the reins as the New Executive Director of Corpus Christi Force Volleyball. Joining Force from the very start, Coach Washington has coached 12 Crossfire, 13 Crossfire, 14 Crossfire, 17 Crossfire, and 18 Crossfire. She led her 18s in the past two seasons to both back to back Adidas Lone Star Classic Champions earning bids to the Girls Junior Nationals Championships. She has earned many accolades throughout her coaching career and each team she has coached has shown tremendous improvement, growth, and love for the game. KWash has a true gift when it comes to coaching; With her high level of playing and coaching experience, and her strong network of college coaches, she takes pride in what she does! If you can’t find Coach Kwash in the gym, you can find her enjoying her time off with family and friends, catching up on tv series, watching volleyball matches, or shopping, and hanging with friends!
D'Colby Green-McNary: Director of Operations & Marketing
The man behind the scenes! Coach D’Colby Green-McNary “Coach D”is going into his 5th season with Corpus Christi Force Volleyball. D’Colby is from Cuero, Texas. A 2011 High School graduated of Cuero High School, where he lettered in both basketball, football, and track in one of the most decorated high school football and track programs in the state of Texas! Coach D’Colby found his love for volleyball through Coach Kwash back in their high school days attending many open gyms when not at football or track practice! He later went off to Southern California where he fell even more in love with the game and has played in tournaments all over southern and Northern California! Attending a community college studying music and later attending The University of California-Los Angeles studying in the medical field and lead pre-med summer scholar program coordinator! You can now find Coach D’Colby finishing up school in hopes to obtain an MBA from The University of Alabama. Coach D’Colby brings tons of energy, knowledge, and positivity to the staff; we can definitely say he is one of the most influential Coaches apart of Corpus Christi Force Volleyball program! With accolades in his first few years of coaching from Tour of Texas Qualifier Champions, assisting the 18s in back to back Adidas Lone Star Classic Championships, and more. If you can’t find Coach D’Colby in the gym you can catch him traveling, singing, enjoying family and friends, or making music!
Richard Rosales: Director of Training & Recruiting
Coach Richard Rosales “Rich” is going into his 8th season with Corpus Christi Force Volleyball. Coach Rich is from Granbury, TX where he is a 2013 graduated from Granbury High School, where he played four years of basketball. While in high school Rich started playing volleyball at the recreational level. After high school he moved to Corpus Christi to attend TAMUCC. In 2017 he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and is currently pursing a masters degree in education while also earning his teacher certification. Coach Rich has worked with the TAMUCC Islanders Divison I volleyball program in both indoor and outdoor. During his years of working with the Islanders, they went undefeated and won two conference championships! They also earned berths to the NCAA Division I Volleyball tournament both years playing No. 10 Texas A&M in 2015 and No. 8 Washington in 2016. Richard comes to us with college coaching experience and also has experience coaching at the high school level as well. You can now find Coach Rich as the head Coach of Incarnate Word Academy (IWA) High School in Corpus Christi, Tx where he has high hopes to leading his team on a historic playoff run this year! With many coaching accolades from Tour of Texas Qualifier Champions, top finishes in tourneys and national qualifiers, Girls Junior National Championship bids,ect.. He brings a lot of energy, knowledge, and fun into the gym and we guarantee you will love him! If you can’t find Coach Rich in the gym you can catch him playing in competitive open gyms and competitive tournaments. Also going out to eat, watching scary movies, watching volleyball matches, and hanging with his friends!
